The Season 10 Summer House reunion just filmed, but will that be the last one that ever happens? According to cast member Jesse Solomon, the future of the hit Bravo series is currently up in the air. Keep reading for more on what he had to say about where the show stands as of now.
So Much Drama, The Show Should Last Another Year
One would think that with all of the Summer House drama, the show would be a shoo-in for an eleventh season. After all, ‘Scandoval’ gave Vanderpump Rules one more year with the OG cast just to see how it all played out. Before Season 10 of SH began, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their separation, but no one was surprised. It had long been rumored that they were struggling in their marriage, and now it was confirmed. Then, rumors flew that Amanda was dating her housemate, West Wilson, who previously dated her best friend, Ciara Miller.
Again, they did not give any life to it until the end of March when they released a joint statement. They confirmed that they had been seeing each other, and the betrayal was palpable. The Season 10 reunion was just filmed, and audio from it was leaked. Moreover, it showcased how angry Ciara was at Amanda and the venom and lies that spewed forth. Co-star Jesse Solomon is unsure if there will be another season, as he shared his thoughts just before the reunion was filmed:
“I think everything’s kind of up in the air right now. I don’t think even the producers know what’s going to happen. They’re just trying to get through the reunion and see what’s what.”
Now that there has been a leak, Bravo is investigating who was behind it and if it was related to the cast. This is such a mess, and no one has any faith in each other. Moreover, it is curious as to who would even want to come back to Summer House.
Could This Harm The Spin-Off?
Summer House also just launched a spinoff, In The City, which features Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard. West Wilson makes an appearance, but that show could also be in jeopardy. Jesse Solomon believed that some of the cast were meant to move over to the spinoff, while others would stay in the Hamptons. However, all of that could switch given the scandal and the state of the relationships:
“I think the plan was that the people who filmed In the City would transition to that show, but now, I don’t know if anybody knows. I’m assuming we’ll see some familiar faces back in The Hamptons, but my job is just to be myself.”
A lot will depend on the reunion, the leak, and the relationships of the cast. Will everyone want to come back, and how will Bravo handle these fractures? Are you interested in another season? Let us know and watch Summer House Tuesdays on Bravo.
