Janai let viewers know that she wished she could have said goodbye. However, this was not an option, and she was fired immediately. Janai has tried to be positive about it and look on the bright side, like being able to spend more time with her family.

Janai Norman has revealed that she once checked herself into a psychiatric hospital. This happened after she volunteered to cover a hurricane in 2022. She was not prepared for this, as she thought, and ended up coming back with awful mental health. When she came back, she started having suicidal thoughts.

“That really shifted my relationship with so many aspects of my life, but especially with work. It really helped me separate my worth from my work. What I did for a paycheck was no longer tied to my sense of purpose. That was really the work of choosing myself and breaking news barriers and stigmas along the way,”

This was hard for Janai. However, she was able to get on top of things and get help. Fans love that she has been open about this.

It seems as though Janai checked herself into a psychiatric hospital in 2022 after coming back from covering a hurricane. She realized that she was not prepared for this whatsoever. When she got back, she was having an extremely hard time. So, she had to do something and ended up getting herself help. Fans were glad to hear that she was on top of things.
