Megyn Kelly speaks her mind, good, bad, or indifferent, and it can make enemies of some of the A-list. Yet, she does not care and will continue to say how she feels, loud and proud. Recently, she gave her thoughts on Blake Lively amid her Justin Baldoni lawsuit being settled. Again, Megyn did not hold back when referring to Blake as a “mean girl bully,” but what was her reasoning behind that? Keep reading for more details.
Blake Lively Settles Lawsuit
The lawsuit between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni began in December 2024. This was a handful of months after their hit film, It Ends With Us, premiered. Blake made several allegations against Baldoni, which included sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. She also stated that there was “retaliation through a smear campaign.” In May 2026, it was all dismissed. Some stated that Blake had no choice, as her career and personal relationships were failing. She had lost her longtime bestie, Taylor Swift, in the mix, and it was believed her husband, Ryan Reynolds, told her it was time to bow out.
After the lawsuit was dismissed, Megyn Kelly chimed in on her SiriusXM show. She has had prior experience with Blake, and it left a bad taste in her mouth. Megyn, 55, began by stating that “no one’s gonna get smeared anymore on the internet because of her,” now that the lawsuit has been settled. She then went on to tell her listeners that it is perfectly okay to dislike Blake Lively:
“She looked terrible. She was equally nasty. Harassment on the internet was a thing before this case, and it will be a thing after this case. We’re allowed to dislike her. We’re allowed to write terrible things about her when it’s raised in terms of our opinion, you can’t make up facts about somebody [if] they’re false.”
However, Megyn Kelly also wanted to add one more thing regarding the Los Angeles mother of four. She seems not to have anything complimentary to say about the actress, and wants to encourage free speech:
“But if we think she’s a terrible, spoiled, mean girl bully, we’re free to say that.”
On Megyn’s Side
After hearing what Megyn Kelly had to say regarding Blake Lively, followers could not help but agree with her. Moreover, they believed that Blake was not accountable for her actions, and that was hurting, not helping her:
- Blake Lively and her lawyers are despicable. A total embarrassment.
- Blake doesn’t understand the meaning of accountability
- BLAKE smeared him. Very blatantly. Had people unfollow him, etc. It’s a new low for her to go after fees because he sued HER for defamation. At least his lawsuit was based on REALITY.
