Former RHONY star Bethenny Frankel has been slammed by a small business for her “entitled” and spoiled behavior. She has reached a level where she seemingly just expects things from people. Yet, that is not the case. Keep reading for more on what went down between Bethenny and the business.
Bethenny Frankel Has Long Rubbed People Wrong
It has been a long road for Bethenny Frankel. She built her business from nothing, and that is something to be admired. Yet, she has since forgotten where she came from. When RHONY was celebrating 100 episodes, she thanked Andy Cohen for helping catapult her. She had tears in her eyes and hugged the host and producer. However, she would later go on to bash him and Bravo when it no longer suited her. Recently, Dina Manzo’s daughter, Lexi Ioannou, called Bethenny a “weirdo.” She had sent the mogul a pair of her brand’s shoes, and Bethenny was spotted wearing them. Yet, she tagged another brand in her pics.
This hurt Lexi because she is a small business and could have used the exposure. Some claimed that Lexi’s shoes were not in stock, but if that were the case, Bethenny could have still shouted her out. Now, a small bakery in Boca Raton, Florida, is speaking out against the former reality star. SugarHi Boca was called upon to create a lavish cake for Bethenny, which cost around $4K. Her assistant had called to make a cake for her Miami birthday party, which they obliged. The owner noted that they stated they would pay for it, but she knew that they likely did not mean it:
“So I took the gamble as a business owner. I said it was an honor, which it was. ‘Just please tag us if she posts it.’ And they said no guarantees. Okay, fair enough.”
Bethenny Frankel seemingly liked it so much that she shared it all over the place, leaving it to get picked up by everyone. However, she failed to tag the bakery despite tagging everyone else involved in the event. All the owner wanted was a thank you, and that did not happen. Bethenny recently reached out again, but when the owner told her she’d have to pick it up, she was “ghosted.”
Bad Business
Bethenny Frankel recently posted about a Publix cake that she loved. The bakery owner noted that they do not need publicity, being a huge grocer. Yet, someone small does, and that is what hurts. After she came forward, followers chimed in and told her that people need to stop doing things for free:
- She and her team know exactly what they’re doing.
- Folks have to stop working for free! Why is it an honor. It’s an honor to be paid.
- You should have said no tag, no cake. You would have saved $4000.
- It bothers me so much that the richest people get everything for free like why did this even start happening?
The hope is that Bethenny Frankel will learn from all this bad press, but it seems that she does not mind it. She just keeps clapping back as if everyone else is the problem. Do you think she should be more appreciative? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
