Ryan Edwards’ Life Was On Track
After going to jail in 2023 and then being released to rehab, Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards was seemingly getting his life back. He and Mackenzie Standifer parted ways and were attempting to work on a co-parenting situation. Additionally, he and his ex, Maci Bookout, were getting along better than ever as their son, Bentley, was a full-blown teenager. Finally, Ryan found love with Amanda Conner while in rehab, and they welcomed a daughter. Although many were initially skeptical of her, given her rough background, they felt the two worked well.
They tied the knot, and it looked like a good match. Unfortunately, fans questioned if she was relapsing, and then she was pulled over for a DUI with their baby girl in the car. Ryan had gone to get a drug test in the middle of the night for Amanda when she took off. Now, it seems like she was ready to file for divorce from Ryan. This came out the day after her arrest. She called 9-1-1 and alleged that Ryan had a history of being abusive. So much so that she was scared to go into their home alone:
“I’m just requesting an officer to be here so I can get the things out of my house. Me and my husband are in the middle of a divorce and he’s been abusive in the past and I just don’t feel comfortable…”
Amanda’s sister, Ashley, added that the Teen Mom star allegedly nearly killed his wife. As for Amanda, she stated that she has photographic evidence. However, she held back in fear of Ryan Edwards going back to prison:
“I have pictures of me with black eyes, [busted?] nose. I never reported it to the police because I just didn’t want him to go to jail that day. But, yes, I have evidence of him being very abusive.”

Ryan Edwards was in hot water for destroying his ex-wife, Mackenzie Standifer’s, home. The Teen Mom alum went off the rails, and fans were shocked at his behavior. However, they saw him improving so much, but after the recent allegations, they are livid. Although Amanda Conner has been acting off, many followers are on her side. They know who he is and how he has acted and cannot help but think this is who he will always be:
- I believe Ryan has been violent. He has proven how violent he can be. Of course, Amanda mocked Mack and acted like she was making it up. But, here we are. Ryan is a bad person, sober or not. And the same goes for Amanda.

It has been noted that when Ryan’s ex, Mackenzie, came out with her abuse allegations, Amanda laughed. Now, the shoe is on the other foot, and it’s not so funny.
