Disney+ has released the official trailer for the upcoming Hulu Original drama series Furious, premiering later this summer.
The show follows an FBI agent, Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer. Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur. It’s created by Elizabeth Meriwether, who executive produces.
Meriwether is best known for creating New Girl, The Dropout and Dying For Sex, as well as directing 2011’s No Strings Attached.
Other people in the strong-looking cast include Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy. Emmy Rossum also executive-produced Composition 8, alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk executive-produced and directed the first two episodes. The series is produced by 20th Television and Searchlight Television. The show premieres with a three-episode drop on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the U.S., before new episodes are dropped weekly.
