Rico Nasty has announced her new album, RX, out July 24.
RX was produced by Kenneth Blume after reconnecting following their work on the 2019 mixtape Anger Management and “SMACK A BITCH” from her 2020 debut album, Nightmare Vacation.
“I missed someone that was honest with me,” Nasty says. “I missed someone who knew me back then, before I had any success. I felt like if I’m going to get back to doing me, I should go back to someone who can be real with me, somebody who’s not too serious or draining.”

For four months, Blume and Nasty worked on RX, an album she describes as “returning” to her roots by leaning toward her signature blend of punk, metal, and alternative sounds. 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady provided additional production on “Kiss N Makeup.”
“From the day we met, no one has made me laugh harder or pushed me further out of my comfort zone,” Blume says. “RX feels like homecoming. This project is a reminder of where she came from, what made us all fans, and a scary look at how much better she keeps getting.”
“Cupcake” is the latest single from the album, following “Rituals.” The bouncy trap song leans into her distinctive sound, along with a video directed by Miggy.
Later this summer, Rico will perform at Chreece Festival in Indianapolis before joining Magdalena Bay to support Hayley Williams across America after she extended her 2026 solo tour.
