The Valley star Brittany Cartwright just learned that her longtime publicist, Lori Krebs, has been seeing her estranged husband, Jax Taylor. She promptly fired Lori and has been hiding away amid the betrayal. Now, she is speaking out and sharing how she is feeling alongside best friend and co-star Zack Wickham. Brittany Cartwright Is Protecting Her ‘Peace’
Jax Taylor has never changed in the thirteen years since Vanderpump Rules premiered. It seemed like he had shaped up when his father passed away ahead of Season 7. However, that all changed, and he was a leopard who never changed his spots. He and his now-estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, were let go after Season 8. Yet, they were chosen to helm the VPR spinoff, The Valley, alongside Kristen Doute and a handful of “friends,” including Zack Wickham. After Season 2, Jax left, and the show has gone somewhat downhill.
Cameras were down for the current season, but then it came out that Jax was dating his publicist, Lori Krebs. She also represented Brittany. Rumors floated that they had been hot and heavy in the past, but that was brushed off. Now, there was photographic evidence, and no one could ignore it. On a recent episode of Brittany’s When Reality Hits podcast, she acknowledged the betrayal:
“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — THE truth — on this matter very soon, whenever I’m ready. As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. As of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace. Very soon I will be telling [my truth].”
Cameras have since picked back up for The Valley Season 3 to capture the fallout of Jax Taylor’s betrayal. Zack Wickham has not been so kind regarding it, and he knows. On the pod, he immediately had this to say:
“There is one thing that I wanted to start by saying. I wanted to say hi to a few fans that are listening. Hi Lori! Hi Jax!”
A Publicity Stunt?
Some have joked that this is a PR stunt to keep Jax Taylor relevant. It is working, as he has brought The Valley back for more episodes. However, he has remained a presence and a talking point on the show even when he has not been a cast member. So, he did not have to date their publicist to leave his mark. Fans of the show have chimed in and think that Brittany Cartwright is loving her new storyline:
- You just know Brittany is thrilled to bits that she finally has a storyline other than whining about Nia, and a chance to talk more about her favorite person, herself.
- Agreed, but I am tired of listening to this whiney b*tch who knew what she was getting and now won’t shut up about him..her only storyline she is no better than him..
- This is simply a re-run. Nobody is holding their breath waiting for Brittany’s ‘truth’. We are at SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
