Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd, 2025, and his family was devastated. They loved and adored him, and now, their world was shattered. However, things were very tumultuous when Sharon Osbourne was in hot water as a host on The Talk. She was called out for alleged racist remarks, and that took a toll on her husband, leading his family to fear for his life. Keep reading for more details.
Ozzy Osbourne Took On Wife’s Stress
The Osbourne family has always been extremely tight-knit, which viewers saw in their self-titled series. Then, the show ended, but that did not mean they did not stick together. Sharon Osbourne went on to co-host The Talk, which ended up being very successful. Unfortunately, she came under fire for defending Piers Morgan, who criticized Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Duchess Meghan Markle. She was then looked at as racist, despite claiming she was simply defending her close friend.
That backlash caused Sharon to exit the talk show, and it allegedly stressed her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, out extensively. He was already battling Parkinson’s and having an immensely hard time. However, the strain of what Sharon was going through just added to it all. An insider shared this during the intense situation:
“The stress has been unbearable for him, and he’s actually complained of feeling physically ill. The most he can do is shuffle around, but he frets so much he forgets where he’s going.”
Allegedly, the family was fearing for what could happen to him amid all of the stress. They thought that he might not make it much longer, but he pushed on for four more years. As for Sharon, she was livid with the network and did not hold back:
“These people that run these networks, especially one that was failing, they are desperate to keep their jobs. They are desperate, in these times we live in, to be perceived as more than woke. You know, they want to be seen as Mother Teresa and Jesus Christ, but they’re all hypocrites.”
Regardless, Ozzy Osbourne always had his wife’s back and vice versa. This was something she knew, and probably why their love lasted decades.

One Final Show
Despite his health problems, Ozzy Osbourne did one final show, and fans loved it. They had no idea that he would pass away at the age of 76. However, he made sure to give it his all because that is what his fans truly deserved, and he knew that. Of course, he left behind his children and his beloved Sharon Osbourne, who will never recover from the loss. She has always loved Ozzy, no matter what the struggles, and made that very clear.
