Good American Family is returning with another story to tell. Hulu has decided to turn the limited series into an anthology series and renewed it for a second season.
According to Deadline, the second season will tell the story of Lorena Bobbitt. The following was revealed about the season:
“Per Season 2’s official logline, it is inspired by the ripped-from-the-headlines story of Lorena and John Bobbitt, a Virginia couple who incited a media circus that treated trauma as entertainment, launched a thousand dirty jokes and ignited a gender war.”
The first season starred Ellen Pompeo, who is also executive producer for the series, and told the story of Natalia Grace.
The premiere date for season two of Good American Family will be announced later.
