Witney Carson has had a lot of important roles during her time on Dancing with the Stars. Now, she’s stepping away from one of her more recent jobs. Keep reading to find out what happened.
Witney Carson On Dancing With The Stars
Witney Carson is a well-known DWTS star. In fact, she’s one of the longest-running pros on the show – a title she should not take lightly. Witney made her debut on the series as a troupe dancer before going pro in 2014. Since then, she’s been lighting up the stage with her dynamic moves. She has even won the mirrorball trophy twice. Her most recent win was just last season with Robert Irwin.
Robert and Witney made an incredible dancing duo and quickly rose to the top as fan favorites. Of course, Witney is married and pregnant with her third child. Robert, on the other hand, was young, single, and has incredible dance moves. This made him the perfect bachelor. While on the show, Robert developed a crush on one of the troupe dancers, Hailey Bills. However, he wasn’t willing to swap a win for romance.
“Robert’s been chasing Hailey around on set like a puppy dog. It’s no secret, people see it but the whole crew is supportive. They love the two of them individually so together they would be even better. There’s definitely a lot of attraction there, definitely a lot of flirting. They seem to have a really good connection and chemistry, that’s for sure. Robert has his eyes on the prize and is just trying to get through this season and come out on top, so nothing is official yet. “
Despite this, Witney decided to become Robert’s self-proclaimed matchmaker. However, now that’s all changing.
Witney Steps Back
Ahead of the new season of the show, Witney has announced she is stepping back from her job of being Robert’s matchmaker. Apparently, it became too overwhelming for her.
“I have completely dropped that because it was so overwhelming for me,” she says, according to OK!.
Apparently, this was one job that bested her and was simply too much.
“I was like, ‘I’m not a matchmaker. This is not for me.’ It was too stressful,” she admits.
Her timing works out well considering Robert is reportedly dating a wildlife photographer. It seems that Witney’s services are no longer needed. Now, she can focus on the new season and the new baby she will be welcoming!
