Travis Kelce looked for his future wife on reality TV a decade before he met Taylor Swift. The celebrities quietly began dating before going public in September 2023. They got engaged in 2025. Nearly 1,000 guests packed Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026, for the wedding. But there’s reportedly trouble in paradise less than three months later. Keep reading for all the details on Taylor Swift’s frustration with her new husband.
Taylor Swift ‘Frustrated’ With Travis Over Rushed Honeymoon, Not A Priority
Fans are still waiting for more details, and maybe some photos, from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. Even though it was in a very public location, they managed to keep it as private as possible. The wedding happened in a very limited window when both of their schedules were free.
She wrapped up the Eras Tour in 2024 and Travis Kelce’s football season ended early after the Kansas City Chiefs failed to make the playoffs. The newlyweds reportedly had a brief mini-honeymoon in Big Sky, Montana, after their wedding. Taylor Swift is reportedly “frustrated” that their honeymoon was cut short.
“She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time – he works overtime – causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more,” a source close to the couple told the Daily Mail.

The honeymoon was cut short. Travis Kelce began training camp for the 2026 season at the end of July. “Travis being in training camp has meant she has had to go out alone. They do not see each other every single day, but they see each other every single week – they are very dedicated to that,” the insider said about how football season is already impacting their lives.
Travis Kelce Faces Retirement Decision
Travis Kelce’s return to training camp went viral for all the wrong reasons. The NFL player was trolled for appearing to have gained a little weight in the off-season. However, the “dad bod” didn’t seem to affect his skills on the field.

The Kansas City Chiefs had a rough last season. They missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014. There was a lot of speculation about whether it would be Travis Kelce’s last year. However, he put retirement rumors to bed… at least for now. The tight end signed a new contract with the Chiefs through at least this season. He has an option for another two years after that. However, at 36, it may be time for him to retire. That’s a decision he’ll make at the end of this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs kick off the 2026 season against the Denver Broncos on Monday, September 14.
