FRANCE has declared it is ready to open the EU door to Britain 10 years after Brexit and offered its backing to Andy Burnham as prime minister. Tesla has settled a lawsuit connected to a fatal 2023 crash involving a vehicle using the company’s advanced driver assistance system known as Full Self-Driving. Bloomberg was first to report on the settlement. Terms were not disclosed. The lawsuit was filed against Tesla and the driver by the daughter of Johna Story, a 71-year-old woman who was struck by a Tesla Model Y. A former Arby’s manager in Oklahoma has been arrested after she allegedly infected a customer and her family with oral herpes when she “intentionally” spit in their food. The U.S. government is set to take an awful lot of control over which AI models get released. Two weeks after the U.S. government pulled Anthropic’s Fable and Mythos models, OpenAI’s new model seems to be headed for the same limbo.
