Delta Air Lines has become the new go-to carrier that American travelers consider when purchasing a flight, leapfrogging rivals American Airlines and United Airlines, according to an annual study released this week by YouGov. In addition to moving up the ranks for travelers considering future ticket purchases, the Atlanta-based airline also landed at the No. 1 spot for quality and beat out the three other largest U.S. carriers—American, United, and Southwest Airlines—for satisfaction among current and former travelers. Those two particular rankings made for a “really banner year” for Delta, said John Newell, field marketing manager for YouGov, while discussing…

And some of these trends didn’t exist in the market just a few years ago, explained Tiffany Johnson, National Associate Director for dental and vision at Willis Towers Watson.…
Even if, at first glance, the Clarity Act does not seem to apply to this question because it is not asking if Albertans want their province to secede from Canada right away, the House of Commons could still technically want to make its voice heard in this debate, suggested Patrick Taillon, professor of constitutional law at Université Laval in Quebec City.

Sheinbaum’s mañanera in 60 seconds 🇺🇸 Sheinbaum outlines limits of U.S. security cooperation to Mullin: In a Thursday meeting with U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, Sheinbaum said she explained that Mexican law and the Constitution prohibit joint security operations on Mexican soil — a direct reference to last month’s unauthorized CIA participation in a Chihuahua drug lab raid. Though The Birthday Party marks the first time Léa Mysius has directed a film in contention for the festival’s Palme d’Or, the French filmmaker is no stranger to Cannes. Her sophomore feature – an odd, beguiling Adèle Exarchopoulos-starrer called The Five Devils – was a highlight of the 2022 Director’s Fortnight selection, and she helped write Claire Denis’ Grand Prix-winning Stars at Noon, as well as Jacques Audiard’s reviled-and-revered crime thriller musical Emilia Pérez, which in 2024 took home both the Jury Prize and Best Actress award.Low-lit and bluish, The Birthday Party is a slow-burn affair that allows Mysius’ penchant for high-contrast melodrama to shine through. Contained by its…
