WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance says the administration “absolutely” mishandled the communications surrounding the Epstein files and its contents. During a lengthy podcast interview with Joe Rogan released Wednesday, Vance pointed largely to former Attorney General Pam Bondi, who infamously stated that an alleged “client list” of Epstein’s was “sitting on my desk right now.” In addition to those comments, the Justice Department under Bondi had also offered conservative commentators and influencers binders that were called “The Epstein files: Phase 1″ and “Declassified.” “I know Pam. I like Pam. I don’t think there was anything malicious going on,” Vance…
Amy Duggar is speaking out about her decision to personally contact the individual accusing her cousin, Joseph Duggar, of child abuse. By stepping forward, Amy hopes to offer a supportive refuge outside of the high-pressure environment surrounding her famous family amid the scandalous accusations. This comes after Joseph was accused of molesting an underage girl back in 2020 during a family vacation. Amy recently opened up about a private conversation she had with the person accusing her cousin, Joseph, of abuse. Speaking on “The Sarah Fraser Show” podcast, the 39-year-old explained that her goal was simply to provide comfort. “I…
In 2025, the number of American workers represented by a union climbed to 16.5 million, the highest share of unionized workers in 16 years. During an era of declining union membership, this is no small feat. The number of workers who long to be part of a union, however, is far higher—over 50 million. There’s a reason so many workers are clamoring for union representation. A new report from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) argues that tripling union membership could radically change the lives of workers, ushering in the type of wage growth that helped foster a robust middle class…
The Orioles announced that left-hander Keegan Akin has undergone Tommy John surgery. He will miss the remainder of this year and possibly all of 2027 as well. He’s already on the 60-day injured list and will stay there for the rest of the season. Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com was among those to pass the news along. It’s unsurprising-but-brutal news for the lefty. He hit the 15-day IL at the end of June due to elbow discomfort. About a week ago, it was revealed that Akin would be visiting surgeon Dr. Keith Meister for a consultation. A few days later, it…
President Trump announced $10 billion in private investments on Wednesday for U.S. defense projects that are expected to create more than 4,000 jobs in Pennsylvania and build the nation’s industrial base. The projects, about 30 in all, will support shipbuilding, munitions, the space industry, innovation and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics. “Pennsylvania workers will build the ships, submarines, trucks, weapons and industries that will ensure America remains the strongest and most powerful nation in the history of the world,” Mr. Trump said at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle,…
The growing anti-Israel faction in the Democratic Party came into view Wednesday when nearly half of the House Democratic Caucus voted to cut off military aid to the Jewish state. The chamber shot down the measure on a 104-314 vote, with 10 Democrats voting “present.” The only Republican voting yes was the author of the legislation, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who recently lost his primary election to a challenger backed by President Trump. Voting to cut off U.S. aid to Israel were 103 of 201 House Democrats. Longtime establishment Democrats such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California…
The CFL’s George Reed Most Outstanding Player award is a prestigious accolade, but there are layers to it. Local media vote on nominees for each team nomination, which takes those players into the divisional voting round and then up against the top player as voted by the other division. What I find most interesting about projecting likely team nominees is what it says about the team as a whole through six weeks. If you can’t reasonably nominate your quarterback, things likely aren’t going great. Some teams have such great quarterback play, but one of their receivers feels like the reason…
LE SSERAFIM revealed the title of their next album on Thursday, dropping a short but effective announcement that got the K-pop community talking. The group posted on Instagram on July 10, sharing “Sound Coin Album” as the project’s name along with a date and time stamp marking the reveal at 1 PM KST. The post kept things simple, but it still drew more than 70,000 likes. That’s a strong early signal that the group’s audience is already primed for whatever comes next. K-pop album rollouts tend to work in stages, and following that process is part of the fun. A…
