Hannah Brown is a fan favorite in Bachelor Nation. Ask any fan and they’ll tell you she’s sweet, wholesome, and friendly. But what was she like off camera? A former Bachelorette producer called her out as “difficult” to work with. Keep reading for all the details on the shocking allegation.
Bachelorette Producer Spills Tea On Backstage Drama
Several former Bachelor Nation producers are spilling all the tea on what it’s like behind the cameras. Former producer Alanna Noel was a guest on Courtney Robertson’s podcast recently. She revealed some shocking details about the joint Bachelorette season with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia.
The producer took full credit for two female leads. However, Rachel Recchia wasn’t the initial choice. Susie Evans, also from Clayton Echard’s Bachelor season, was. Susie and Gabby became close friends during The Bachelor. However, the producer didn’t know when she pitched the joint season that Susie and Clayton were back together.
While Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia were portrayed as besties, that couldn’t be further from the truth. The producer claimed that Gabby never liked Rachel. Furthermore, the two were constantly compared to each other to trigger Rachel’s insecurities.
Calls Out Hannah Brown As ‘Difficult’
A new book from a different former producer describes Bachelorette Hannah Brown as “difficult.” Julie LaPlaca’s upcoming book, The Love Producer: My Unscripted Journey from a Reality TV Career to My Own Happily Ever After, comes out in July.

She teased the book on the She’s All Bach podcast. “She made my life really difficult,” the producer claimed. Julie LaPlaca first began working with the show during Andi Dorfman’s season. Her early role was planning dates, but she was later promoted to working directly with the leads.
“I would say we had a love-hate relationship,” she said about her time working with Hannah Brown. The producer continued, “To me, I was like, ‘Yay! I’m a girls’ girl, let’s hang out and talk about boys. Let’s have fun!’ And we did, we had a lot of fun, but we went through a lot of growing pains.”
Despite calling the beloved Bachelorette star “difficult,” the producer said that she still loves Hannah Brown and they did have some fun times together.
Hannah Brown left her season engaged to Jed Wyatt, but quickly called it off. She finally got her happily-ever-after when she married model Adam Woolard last summer. Their plans to start a family were derailed after she was diagnosed with a rare medical condition that splits the uterus, increasing the likelihood of miscarriages.

The Bachelorette star underwent surgery to hopefully correct the issue and is now in her “family planning era,” she wrote on social media.
The upcoming tell-all book from a former Bachelor producer hits stores in July.
