The Supreme Court made a huge ruling this week that could change how the country votes. Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly called out The View hosts for their ‘dangerous’ rhetoric on race during a discussion about the ruling. Keep reading to find out more.
The View Hosts Protest Supreme Court Ruling
The midterm elections are just a few months away. Politicians on both sides are doing everything they can to sway the vote their way. Congress is trying to pass a law requiring proof of citizenship at the polls. Now a Supreme Court ruling could further hinder voting rights.
Earlier this week, the majority of the Supreme Court ruled that race cannot be used while redistricting voting areas. According to The View hosts, the ruling chips away at the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1962. Whoopi Goldberg suggested that the recent Supreme Court ruling could prevent minorities from voting because they thought their vote wouldn’t matter. She encouraged minorities to vote anyway.
Sunny Hostin was distraught over the Supreme Court ruling. “Now I have to tell my children that they have less civil rights than I did when I was born,” she said. Joy Behar called out Justice Clarence Thomas for not standing up for “his people, his race.”

Megyn Kelly Calls Out Talk Show Hosts For ‘Dangerous’ Race Rhetoric
Meghan Kelly used to be one of President Trump’s biggest supporters. However, she disagreed with several of his decisions in the last few months. She very loudly disagreed with The View hosts on the fallout from the Supreme Court ruling. The former Fox News host addressed it on her YouTube show.
Sunny Hostin was Megyn Kelly’s first target. “Listen to the way she talks about this ruling… It’s incredible to watch this incredibly privileged group of rich b*****s act like they’ve had dogs sicked on them at the ballot box,” she said.
The former NBC host was disgusted by Joy Behar’s comments about Justice Thomas. Megyn Kelly said it would be unacceptable for a white lawyer to say protecting their race would be the first priority, equating it to what Joy Behar expected from Justice Thomas.
Megyn Kelly blasted the hosts for their “dangerous” race rhetoric. “What they’re doing is so dangerous because if you make race the stakes of any conversation like it’s okay to stand up for your people because you’re black – we’re living through the backlash to that right now, where, especially young white men in some pockets have been told this over and over and over, that it’s okay to divide us by race and to lean into race essentialism, that they’re like, ‘Okay, fine, then we’ll do that.’ And they’re much more focused on their whiteness and their race than they have been in decades.”
She added, “That kind of talk is genuinely dangerous. It’s such bull**** that they’re allowed to get away with it.”
Megyn Kelly vehemently disagreed that the Supreme Court ruling discourages minorities from voting. Share your thoughts on the ruling in the comments.
