Team Canada has improved to a record of six wins and one loss after seven games at the 2026 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships in Geneva, Switzerland. The Canadian team is comprised of Kadriana and Colton Lott of Selkirk, Manitoba. On Wednesday, the Lotts defeated the German team of Kim Sutor and Sixten Totzek by a score of 7-4.

It was a rebound game for Team Canada. On Tuesday they earned a split. Canada defeated the Hungarian duo of Dorottya Udvardi-Palancsa and Lorinc Tatar by a score of 10-7, and then were beaten 8-5 by Scotland’s Katie McMillan and Angus Bryce.

In Canada’s win over Hungary, the big end for Canada was the third end. Down 4-3 after two ends, the Lotts scored four points to take a 7-4 lead. They then stole one point in the fourth end to take a commanding 8-4 lead.

In Canada’s win over Germany, it was once again the third end which was the difference. Here Canada scored three points to take a 4-2 lead.

Team Canada is in first place in Group B. They have the same record as Italy, but are in first place because they beat the Italians 6-5 in nine ends on Monday. Australia leads Group A with a record of seven wins and one loss.
