Scott Jennings has often shared his views with a number of outlets, having served as a contributor on CNN for years. Recently, however, he sparked a few reactions with an expletive-laden moment while on the air. Since then, Jennings has even gotten a few direct responses on social media.

Things Took A Turn For Scott Jennings During A Recent Appearance On CNN NewsNight

Jennings is a political strategist and commentator. He previously served as a special assistant to the president and deputy director of political affairs, being appointed in early 2006 during George W. Bush’s administration. He is also a founding partner of RunSwitch Public Relations.

Jennings has also served as an on-air contributor for CNN, starting his position in 2017. He has also worked for outlets including the Louisville Courier-Journal and the Los Angeles Times.

Recently, Jennings appeared on NewsNight. During the episode, he defended President Trump’s war on Iran. Speaking with Adam Mockler, a commentator for MeidasTouch Network, Jennings appeared to especially take issue with Mockler’s comment about defending “prior endless wars” during the Bush administration.

Jennings fired back, “Eight weeks is endless to you?” In response, Mockler claimed that the Iran conflict dragged on for longer than what Trump and his allies previously shared. Jennings then suggested that Mockler had “the attention span of a gnat.” However, things took a turn when Mockler appeared to raise his hand slightly to make a point.

Both Adam Mockler & The Meidas Touch Issued Responses On Social Media

At this, Jennings shared, “Get your ******* hand out of my face, first of all.” This caused anchor Abby Phillip to intervene, sharing, “Hey, hey. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Guys, excuse me.” Jennings replied, “I’m not going to have this guy’s hand in my face,” as Phillip asked everyone to calm down as they continued the debate.

Following this, Jennings received a few responses to the incident on social media. Mockler himself took to X to claim that his hand wasn’t close to Jennings, sharing video of the conversation. He shared, “Scott Jennings claimed I got in his face; Watch what actually happened in the full CNN segment. He throws a personal jab… then folds the second he gets pressed. Scott loves to dish it but can’t take it.”

Meidas Touch also criticized the moment in another post. Describing Jennings’ behavior as “unhinged,” the outlet wrote, “How could any network possibly allow this loose cannon on the air?”

🚨 WOW! Scott Jennings absolutely LOSES IT on air while getting shut down by Adam Mockler over the Iran war—then starts cursing him out when he realizes he has no good response.

    Absolutely UNHINGED behavior!

How could any network possibly allow this loose cannon on the air? https://t.co/BHrylzpqBM
