Jeffery became known to many for playing Bree in Disney’s Z-O-M-B-I-E-S franchise. In the franchise, Bree is the best friend of the series heroine, Addison, and is herself in a love story with a zombie named Bonzo.
Appearing in the first film, Jeffery would reprise the role throughout the sequels. She would also provide the character’s voice in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series. In addition to this, she made appearances on shows including Shake It Up, Scream Queens, Spider-Man, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Tragically, the actress’ talent agency, Alexander’s Talent Management, announced that she had passed away on Instagram. As it was shared, “Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery.”
The agency highlighted that Jeffery had spent years working with them, highlighting how much they saw her grow over the years. As the statement continued, “For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege. We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went.”

It was also shared, “Carla was more than a client. She was family.” The statement continued, “Our deepest love and condolences are with Carla’s family and loved ones. We ask that their privacy be respected during this incredibly difficult time. Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.”
According to the agency, Jeffrey passed away this past Tuesday. At this time, the actress’ cause of death has not been publicly shared. The star was reportedly 33 at the time of her passing.
Taking to social media, fans expressed their condolences over the tragic news. Many highlighted that the actress was part of their childhood. Some comments included:
