Bravo fans were shocked when the network fired the RHONY cast and brought in entirely new faces. The decision was made amid allegations of racism and other complaints during Season 13. However, an insider hinted that Bravo will soon regret the decision, calling it the “worst mistake.” Keep reading to find out why.
RHONY Gets Another Reboot
Real Housewives fans didn’t connect with the Season 14 cast. The reboot only lasted one season before Bravo decided to make some changes. Only three of the ladies from Season 14 are returning for a new season. Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank and Sai De Silva will be back.
They’re joined by three newbies: celebrity fitness trainer Erika Hammond, celebrity makeup artist Daisy Toye, and public relations professional Hailey Glassman, who previously dated Jon Gosselin.
But viewers will see a familiar face when Carole Radziwill joins Season 16 in a “friend of” role. She recently made headlines when Hulu aired a fictional series recounting the romance of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. Carole Radziwill is related to the Kennedy family by marriage and was heavily involved in the search for John F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife when their plane went missing in 1999.
The new RHONY airs later this year or in 2027.

Firing Vets Was Bravo’s ‘Worst Mistake’
Bravo’s loss is the E! network’s gain. They snatched up Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer, and Dorinda Medley for a new reality show. The Golden Life follows the vets in Palm Beach, Florida.
Jill Zarin was initially part of the show but was fired after making racist comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. TMZ reported that the network executives were very happy with the first 10 episodes of The Golden Life. In fact, the show picked cameras back up to film even more episodes for the first season.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Margaret Josephs reportedly has a cameo with the RHONY vets. Margaret Josephs revealed earlier this year that she was leaving RHONJ after seven seasons.
An insider told TMZ that Bravo is going to regret letting the RHONY vets go when their new E! show is a ratings success. “Bravo made the worst decision of their lives recasting RHONY,” the insider said.
The network hasn’t revealed a premiere date for The Golden Life yet but it’s expected to air this fall. Meanwhile, RHONJ was put on pause for months like RHONY due to cast tensions. Tell us in the comments if you agree that Bravo is going to regret firing the RHONY vets.
