    Flair Airlines has named Captain Matthew Kunz as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

    Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines, said: “Matthew has been with Flair Airlines for more than eight years and has played a key role in our growth. He is a respected leader with an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. As we continue to grow, Captain Kunz’s leadership will help ensure we remain focused on delivering for our customers and connecting Canadians to the people and moments that matter most.”

    During his tenure, Captain Matthew Kunz has served in several senior leadership roles, including Chief Pilot and Vice President, Flight Operations, helping strengthen performance, enhance safety oversight, and support Flair’s next phase of growth.

    Commenting on his appointment, Captain Kunz said: “It is a privilege to take on this role and continue working alongside the incredible people who make Flair what it is today. Over the past eight years, we have built a high-performing operation rooted in safety, accountability and reliability As we continue to grow, I look forward to strengthening our operation and helping more Canadians access the opportunities, experiences, and connections that travel makes possible.”

    Kunz brings extensive experience in airline operations, aviation safety, and regulatory compliance, with a strong understanding of the Canadian aviation landscape and Transport Canada’s regulatory framework.
