Susurros, co-directed by Alexandra Pewinski, Marie Lombard, Florian Reignier, Emma Pluchard, Lisa Francillon and Alice Parmentier as their graduation film at Supinfocom Rubika in Valenciennes, France. The film explores the enduring struggle for women’s reproductive rights across four centuries and is the winner of the ASIFA Student Award 2026. We met up with co-director and sound designer Florian Reignier at Animafest Zagreb to discuss the collaborative creative process, the film’s visual language and its striking historical parallels.
