Summer is only half over, but many people are already looking forward to cooler weather, pumpkin spice, and something new to watch on television. The networks are starting to roll out their fall schedule after airing reruns all summer. But fans quickly noticed that Fox’s 2026 fall schedule is missing three beloved shows. Keep reading to find out what’s going on.
Fox Unveils Fall Schedule Without Three Beloved Shows
Fox kicks off its fall schedule on Monday, September 21, with new episodes of some of its most popular shows. Weekdays are a mix of reality TV and scripted series. Weekends are reserved for sports and Sunday’s “Animation Domination,” which features The Simpsons. The beloved series returns for Season 38.
But television viewers quickly noticed that three beloved shows were missing from the schedule. Nick Cannon was announced as the new host of Lego Masters in 2025 but it’s not on the fall schedule. However, Fox announced in May that the new season is part of its 2027 midseason schedule, which also features a Baywatch reboot.
Another popular missing show is the scripted series Murder in a Small Town. The series stars Rossif Sutherland and Kristin Kreuk. While it was renewed for Season 3, it’s also missing from the schedule. But scripted shows Doc and Best Medicine return in September.
Crime Scene Kitchen, hosted by Joel McHale, was already renewed for a fourth season. However, a premiere date hasn’t been announced yet. The popular reality show may be part of Fox’s midseason schedule. Fans of all three shows were disappointed with the news that none of them are on the fall schedule. But there will be plenty to watch on Fox this fall.

Celebrity Name That Tune Reveals Shocking Change
Reality TV competition shows dominated Fox’s fall schedule. The Floor, Hell’s Kitchen, and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test are among the shows returning.
Celebrity Name That Tune and Celebrity Weakest Link kick off the fall schedule on Monday, September 21. However, Fox announced a shocking change to Name That Tune. Jane Krakowski returns as host for Season 6. However, Randy Jackson is out.
TV Insider reported that Robin Thicke will replace him as bandleader for the new season. However, the reason for the change hasn’t been revealed. Fans have wondered about Randy Jackson’s health for a while now. But he hasn’t addressed the speculation. However, he isn’t leaving Name That Tune completely. He’s staying on as music supervisor for the upcoming season. The show may address the sudden change in the first episode.
Tell us in the comments which Fox shows you’re looking forward to this fall and which ones are missing.
