Stay on this page to see his shocking change in appearance.
Full House Star Diagnosed With Cancer Again After Beating It Once
Dave Coulier was first diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in November 2024. He immediately started chemo. He received support from his Full House co-stars, including John Stamos, who “shaved” his hair in solidarity.
The comedian was declared cancer-free in March 2025. However, he received bad news during a checkup later that year. He was diagnosed with a second, unrelated cancer. The actor was diagnosed with tongue cancer in October 2025.
Dave Coulier started chemo again and announced in February 2026 that he was in remission again. However, his first social media video in a while revealed a shockingly thin and frail appearance. He provided an update on his cancer journey.

Dave Coulier Shocks With Frail Appearance Amid Cancer Battle
Dave Coulier took to Instagram this week with a health update. He addressed his shocking weight loss and change in voice. “Hi everyone, it’s me Dave and I haven’t posted in quite a while and the last time I did some of you said that I look differently and I sound differently,” he began.
The Full House star continued, “What you’re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat. I haven’t been able to eat solid food in months and so I’ve lost 45-lb. That’s what you’re seeing and it’s affected my ability to speak.”

Despite his sickly appearance, he shared a hopeful update. “We got our PET scans back and the prognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma so we’re very pleased with all of that,” he shared.
Fans Send Love & Support
