As an actor, Burton is known for his work in soaps. Starting in 1991, he took on the role of Jason Morgan on General Hospital. He also portrayed Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless.
In his personal life, Burton married Michelle Lundstrom, who is known for competing on Netflix’s Barbecue Showdown in 2025. Since their marriage, the two have been sharing various moments of their lives together on social media, from their wedding to family trips.
During a recent share, Michelle talked about Steve causing problems for her mother around three times. She shared a series of posts on Instagram titled, “Things my husband broke at my Italian mom’s house.”

During the first video, Burton could be heard insisting, “I didn’t do this,” holding up a deer knickknack’s foot. Michelle shared, “You can hear the fear in my ‘oh my gosh.’ But, in the end we found out Steve didn’t break the leg… only the tail.”
In the second video, Steve could be seen holding up a moose knickknack who had just lost one of his antlers. This time, Michelle wrote, “This one was my favorite laugh. Sorry mom. The Wilderness Room had another casualty.”
The final video showed broken pieces next to a bed, which Steve allegedly “shattered.” Steve tried to defend himself, saying the piece was “100 years old.” However, Michelle insisted the bed, while next to newer furniture, was new.
At the time, Michelle was also worried about what her mother would say, as she didn’t know about the moose. She captioned the post, “Part 3. The grand finale. ‘It’s possible but, it’s not possible’ Stevie ‘Break it’ Burton.”
