This autumn chaos will reign when Godzilla Minus Zero arrives in UK cinemas. Today we get a taster in the shape of the first trailer teaser and once again Gojira takes on humanity!
Takashi Yamazaki’s 2023 Godzilla Minus One took everyone by surprise. The highly entertaining film one praise around the work as well as scooping up an Oscar. It’s no surprise we now have a follow up film which Anime Limited and Toho will release in IMAX format.
The teaser is short, what can see nothing can stop Godzilla, not even a nuclear bomb!

Following the devastation of Godzilla’s first rampage in ‘Godzilla Minus One,’ Kōichi Shikishima is determined to lead a quiet life, rebuilding his family with Noriko (Minami Hamabe) and young Akiko (Sae Nagatani) while stepping away from the nightmares of war and monsters.”
However, it’s soon discovered that “peace is short-lived when Godzilla returns, fully regenerated, larger and more ferocious, while something ancient begins to stir beneath Aokigahara near Mount Fuji..”
“With stakes higher than ever, Kōichi reluctantly returns to the fight, teaming up with old comrades, and U.S.-Japan alliance forces to confront the two kaiju and protect those he loves,” the alleged synopsis concludes. “Especially as Noriko’s cell connection to Godzilla strengthens, pulling her dangerously closer to the monster’s rage
Of course the above pot is still only gossip and Anime Limited/ Toho are not revealing anything.
Godzilla Minus Zero arrives in UK and Irish cinemas in IMAX format from 6th November.
