Gossip Girl fans saw Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford bring Blair Waldorf and Nate Archibald to life. Recently, the two had a bit of a reunion in Los Angeles. This comes out after Crawford shared another time he had a chance reunion with his former co-star.
Gossip Girl Originally Ran From 2007 To 2012
Gossip Girl is a teen drama based on the novels of the same name. It follows a group of students from Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Their social and private lives are chronicled by the mysterious blogger, the titular “Gossip Girl.”
On the New York-based teen drama, Meester played socialite Blair Waldorf. On the show, Crawford played her ex-boyfriend, Nate Archibald.
Since the series ended in 2012, the two have since pursued other projects, such as Crawford playing Kevin Moskowitz/The Deep on The Boys. However, the two actors recently had the chance to meet up with each other in Los Angeles.
On April 23, the two both attended the Falconeri Dinner celebrating the Ultrafine Cashmere Collection in Los Angeles. The two were also seen smiling while posing for poolside photos at the event.
Meester and Crawford could also be seen with Crawford’s girlfriend, Kelsey Merritt. The two confirmed that they were dating in April 2025.
At the dinner, Meester wore a black sweater with a matching slip skirt. She also wore a pair of hoop earrings. Crawford donned a taupe sweater and a grey pinstripe jacket, as well as grey pants and white sneakers.

This was nearly twenty years since the two first appeared alongside each other on Gossip Girl‘s first season. However, the two have met up with each other before over the years.
Speaking with People, Crawford shared that he and Meester ran into each other by chance at a Beyoncé concert in early 2025. As he shared, “I ended up at a Beyoncé concert, don’t ask me how, but I was there with someone and [Leighton] ended up sitting right next to me.”

“She’s like, ‘What are you doing here?’ And it was so loud. We were trying to catch up. I was like, ‘Look, we’re going to lunch or something. We’ve got to actually catch up properly.’”
Crawford continued, noting that they had a late breakfast a few days later. He noted, “It’s a special thing in life to be able to reconnect now that we’re all older and view it from a different lens from afar and so far removed.”
At the time, the actor shared that he had some fondness for all of his Gossip Girl castmates. Speaking with the outlet, he shared, “I had such a good relationship with each one and friendship with Blake [Lively], Ed [Westwick], Leighton, Penn [Badgeley], Taylor [Momsen], and the rest. Everyone on the show, even from the day players to the supporting, it was such a great experience.”
