Guy Fieri is famous for his trademark flashy style. However, he recently made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, opting for a toned-down look on the red carpet. This isn’t the only time when Fieri made headlines with a change in appearance.
Guy Fieri Could Be Seen On The Red Carpet For A Photo Call For Paper Tiger
Fieri is an American restaurateur and television personality. He is known for hosting various television series on the Food Network, often being described as the face of the network.
Over the years, Fieri has become famous for his signature look. In addition to spiky, bleached-blonde hair and a goatee, he often dons bowling shirts or graphic work shirts, as well as various accessories.
Recently, Fieri made an unexpected appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. He could be seen on the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals. Fieri was part of a photo call for Paper Tiger, a new James Gray film, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Miles Teller, and Adam Driver.
Fieri Still Had A Few Of His Classic Accessories On Hand, In Spite Of His Toned Down Appearance
During the moment, Fieri showed off a toned-down look. He kept his signature spiked hair. However, Fieri donned a black suit and bowtie. That said, he still kept accessories close by. This included silver chain bracelets and a cigar in his hand. He was also wearing a pair of sunglasses.
This wasn’t the first time Fieri made headlines for changing his appearance in recent months. Back in January, Fieri showed off a much more subdued look for a Bosch Super Bowl commercial. At the time, he teased the new look on social media to celebrate his 58th birthday.

For the appearance, as previously reported, Fieri shaved his goatee and traded his spikes for neatly parted brown hair. He also traded in his more flamboyant clothes for a button-down shirt and khakis. That said, the joke of the video was that Guy would transform back into his more familiar appearance thanks to Bosch products.
At this time, it is unclear as to why Fieri was at Cannes. As The Globe & Mail mused, “Is Fieri a buddy of Gray’s? Was he catering the afterparty with unholy and certainly un-Kosher spins on traditional Jewish cuisine? Is he a secret cinephile? Maybe Cannes has all the America it needs, after all.” Taking to social media, a few people also shared similar jokes:
- “Damn I’m really the only one who skipped Cannes this year.”
- “What the hell is wrong with Guy being there?!”
- “For those wondering why Guy Fieri was at this premiere: Paper Tiger is set in Flavortown.”
