However, the decisions were driven more by tactical requirements and team balance rather than form concerns, with PBKS management opting for experienced campaigners and specific match-up advantages against a dangerous SRH side. One of the biggest reasons behind Wadhera’s absence from the playing XI is the return of Shashank Singh. The middle-order batter missed the previous game due to a minor injury concern, but after recovering fully, he walked straight back into the side. Shashank has been one of PBKS’s most dependable batters this season, especially during pressure situations in the middle and death overs. SRH receive massive boost with Nitish Kumar Reddy’s return
