Jeffrey Dean Morgan has revealed that his long-time manager fired him for being too old. This happened right before he got the two roles.
“I’d been with her forever. She was like, ‘You’ve aged out, bro.’ I was old. I was, I think 38, maybe.”
However, shortly after she let him go, he got three roles within a week of each other. He got the roles for Supernatural, Weeds, and Grey’s Anatomy. This is when his career took off. People realized he could do a lot of different roles and was good at acting. After this, he did not struggle in his career anymore. He was worried he was never going to make it in the industry.
It seems as though his manager thought he aged out and was too old to find him roles. However, this was not the truth, and his career took off shortly after. His roles in Supernatural and Grey’s Anatomy helped him tremendously. Since then, he has been a famous actor who is loved by many. He has plenty of fans and has no trouble getting roles.
