Lopez has one of the most recognizable careers in the rom-com genre. “The Wedding Planner” and “Maid in Manhattan” made her a staple of the format in the early 2000s. “Marry Me” brought her back to it in 2022. The genre has been good to her, and she’s been good for it.

He brings something rougher and less predictable. An office setting gives both of them room to work with that contrast.
Rodriguez built his following by painting strangers’ portraits on the streets of New York City. The project grew into a broader entertainment presence.
