The Kardashians Are Not Stepping Up
Each member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has their own incredible source of income. They are moguls and brand ambassadors, and fans flock to them. After twenty seasons, they exited E! and started a new series on Hulu, which is just as successful. Together, they are worth $2.9 billion and want for nothing. On July 4th, 2026, Mason Haynes passed away at the age of 52. He was a celebrity bodyguard and had worked for Kim Kardashian as well as her mother, Kris Jenner. After he died, photos were shared of Mason protecting the ladies.
Unfortunately, his family could not afford a proper burial, so they were forced to set up a GoFundMe. After he died, the security company that hired him and sent him on tasks wrote this:
- We would like to pay homage to an absolute legend in the Close Protection game. Big Mason. Gone too soon. Rest easy and fly high Brother 🕊️
In their tribute snap, Mason is protecting Kris Jenner. So, he was very active with the family, and here was photographic evidence.
After Kardashian fans and followers learned about this, they were shocked. Moreover, they felt that the family should have stepped up and funded the funeral for Mason. They have more than enough money to do so and looked atrocious for doing nothing:
- Call me crazy but if someone had protected my family I would be covering their final expenses.

The Paris Incident
As it turns out, Mason Haynes was one of the bodyguards protecting Kim Kardashian when she was robbed in Paris in 2106. He had spoken out about it and given his side of the incident:
“I can’t go into much detail about that. I was part of that team, and that incident was simply a set of unfortunate circumstances which led to something bad happening.”
However, it is also unclear when he stopped working for them. That being said, it is understandable why fans are frustrated with the Kardashians given their insane net worth. He was someone who worked very hard for them and is now left out in the dust.
