She was accused of bribing a University of Southern California admissions consultant to get her two daughters accepted into the school. She served two months in prison after pleading guilty. Lori Loughlin Revives Career After Prison Stint
Lori Loughlin played girl-next-door Rebecca Donaldson on Full House for years. She returned for the Netflix spinoff. However, she wasn’t included in the fifth and final season due to her involvement in the college admission scandal. The actress did get several smaller jobs after her release from prison. However, she’s been basically blacklisted by Hollywood for years.
Actress Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) was also indicted in the admissions scandal. She only served eleven days and quickly reclaimed her career like nothing ever happened. Lori Loughlin was a pretty big star at Hallmark before her imprisonment. She made a cameo in the When Calls the Heart Season 13 finale.
She’ll have a larger role in Season 14 as Abigail Stanton returns to Hope Valley. The new season won’t premiere until 2027. But Lori Loughlin will be back on Hallmark screens this month in a new movie in the Garage Sale Mysteries series. Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage premieres on Saturday, September 19 at 8 PM Eastern.

Full House Star Makes Shocking Return Amid Facelift Rumors
Lori Loughlin returned to acting and made several public appearances since her stint in prison. However, she’s avoided social media for the last 7 years. She made an unexpected return to Instagram this week with a little help from her friends.
Full House alum John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber welcomed her back to social media. All of Lori Loughlin’s co-stars made appearances in her first post in years. In individual videos, they each told viewers, “Wake up, San Francisco.”

Lori Loughlin’s Full House character co-hosted the fictional morning program with Bob Saget’s Danny Tanner. Bob Saget passed away in 2022. However, he was included in the video with an old clip from the ABC sitcom.
Once Lori Loughlin appeared in the video, she lip-synced to an audio clip from the episode when Becky Donaldson returned from maternity leave and welcomed herself back. “Hi, I’m Rebecca Donaldson, and I’m welcoming myself back to the show. Welcome back, Becky. Why, thank you, Becky. Welcome back,” Lori Loughlin lip-synced.
Her fans welcomed her back to Instagram with open arms. The actress looked radiant, but much younger than 62. There were rumors earlier this year that Lori Loughlin had a facelift and used Kris Jenner’s surgeon. She hasn’t addressed the rumors, but her glowing appearance in the video certainly makes you wonder!
