Three-month-old kittens play with each other. …

The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested a man Monday after he purportedly tried to rob a bank with a stolen kitten in tow.
The police confirmed to Washington’s WJLA-TV that they arrested the man, whom they did not name, following the attempted bank robbery.
Prior to the attempted looting, the man took a 3.5-month-old kitten named Magnolia from the Pet Supplies Plus in Beltsville, Maryland, a theft that Beltsville Community Cats reported on social media.
Security footage showed the man wearing a black beanie and a light-colored T-shirt. Pet store manager Aaron Kurkowski told the District’s WRC-TV that the man had been coming to see Magnolia almost every day for two weeks prior to the incident.
Beltsville Community Cats, which is supported in part by the pet supply store, said that after taking the kitten, the man went to the nearby PNC Bank branch, asked the teller to hold Magnolia so he could write a note, then passed the teller a note demanding the bank’s cash.
“Immediately saw all of these police cars, and I thought, ’Wow, that’s a heck of a response for a stolen cat,’ but then I realized they all were going down to the bank. … They came back out a few minutes later and said, ’Yes, there is a cat inside the bank,” Stephanie Stullich with Beltsville Community Cats told WRC.
After the attempted robbery was stopped, Magnolia was found safe in the bank manager’s office, Beltsville Community Cats said.
