Michael Rapaport has long been a proven Bravo fan. Recently, he took to social media to share his thoughts about “Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard, saying Carl Radke is her only storyline and that she’s too concerned with everyone else. Now she’s responded, prompting him to backpedal a bit.
Rapaport took to his official Instagram account on May 6 to give his “Hot Take” about “Summer House” and Hubbard. He began by saying that his “council advised” him not to speak on the matter as a “straight, cis, white, male.” However, he went on, “But I will not be silenced.
After that, Rapaport stated, “Currently, is Lindsay Hubbard the most overrated person on Bravo? Respectfully. It’s been two years since Carl left you at the altar, and I was with you then. Is it time to let it go?”
The comedian then claimed that Hubbard’s “only storyline for the last two seasons has been Carl, Carl, and Carl,” before asking, “What else you got, Lindsay?” He also accused her of minding everyone else’s business, regarding Radke and the rest of her costars.
Lindsay Hubbard Responds To Michael Rapaport
Following Rapaport’s comments, Hubbard took to her Instagram Stories to respond, telling him to “keep watching.” According to her, “Dear Michael Rapaport. You wanna say something, turn your f-cking comments on,” before telling him, “Don’t be a little b-tch.” The Bravo star also said she’d be happy to start a “media war” with him.
Then, she said to Rapaport, “You’re an old white guy who is making comments about a much younger single mom? Did you forget that I had a baby? You think my only storyline the last two years has been my ex? Okay.”
Later in the response, she teased “Summer House,” telling him that a “very long overdue” conversation will soon air between her and Radke, where he’ll “learn a lot.” Hubbard concluded, “But overrated? I still have a lot more years to come, baby.”
It’s worth noting that Rapaport reposted Hubbard’s response to his Instagram feed. Later, Rapaport posted another video, captioned, “Let’s Hug it out HUBBZZZ,” as he defended his comments, reiterating that she’s “a queen” but questioning her sense of humor.
Additionally, he admitted that Hubbard is “not overrated.”

Social media is now reacting not only to what Rapaport had to say but also to Hubbard’s response. For the most part, fans are on her side as they don’t understand why he felt the need to bash a reality star, regardless of how much of a fan he is. Still, some “Summer House” watchers agree with him.
One person stated on X, “I’m lost on why every time I see him, he’s arguing with a housewife?
Is he on a show or an executive producer?” Another fan wrote, “Why does he keep getting into it with women? Kenya already ate him up. Does he want to go again with Lindsay?”
However, a different “Summer House” watcher said, “Okay, but he’s right, and I’m tired of pretending it’s not true. I actually really hate that I’m agreeing with this man.”
After that, another Bravo fan weighed in, writing, “Lindsay Hubbard is not just overrated, she is beyond overrated. She’s a horrendously unpleasant personality. A successful one, but one that no longer belongs on television.”
Lastly, a different social media user noted, “Lindsay, stop. We love you, but not one lie was told out of Rapaport’s mouth. You literally were a full-time cast member on ‘Summer House’ and were in less than half the episodes. You finally stopped talking about Carl when he brought you a baby gift for Gemma.”
Lindsay Hubbard Says She Was A ‘Support System’ On The Show
Hubbard interviewed with US Weekly in April 2026 to discuss season 10 of “Summer House.” As fans know, she’s a new mom and decided to split her time between The Hamptons and New York City to remain on the show while also being with her daughter. However, this also means she was in fewer episodes.
Regarding not being around as much, she said, “I missed being in the know, but everyone always caught me up when I saw them. It’s kind of fun to do that anyway, being in the position of playing catch-up to what I missed.”
She also discussed her dynamic with the group, especially the new cast members. According to her, “It’s intimidating. It’s a lot. We’re throwing parties. We’re cleaning up. We’re all very comfortable around each other.”
Hubbard added, “Especially for any new girl, they need support. I really tried to give the girls as much support as possible.”
When Is The ‘Summer House’ Reunion?
Season 10 of “Summer House” has easily become one of the most talked-about installments in the series. In addition to Hubbard returning, this is largely due to the situation involving West Wilson, Amanda Batula, and Ciara Miller. Because of this, many are wondering when the much-buzzed-about reunion will air.
According to Bravo, the season 10 finale airs on May 19, followed by the show’s new spin-off, “In The City.” Because of this, part one of the reunion is scheduled for May 26.
