Next Gen NYC and RHONJ star Gia Giudice has been doing things her own way for years. Now, she is sharing why she is happily living without her boyfriend of seven years, Christian Carmichael. Keep reading for more on what Gia had to say.
Gia Is Living Life On Her Own Terms
RHONJ viewers watch Gia Giudice grow up in front of their very eyes. She was a spunky young kid who grew into a woman not afraid to speak her mind. At times, she could be a lot like her mother, Teresa Giudice, known to flip a table. Gia went to Rutgers University with lawyerly ambitions as she hoped to help people in the same position as her father, Joe Giudice. He had been incarcerated before being deported, so this was close to Gia’s heart. Then, she gave that up for a career as an influencer and was soon cast on Next Gen NYC.
RHONJ was put on pause while they did an overhaul, but it is being brought back with her mother. This means that Gia will likely make appearances. At the same time, she is no longer living with her mom and her stepfather, Luis Ruelas. Rather, Gia has her own apartment, which Teresa is envious of:
“I’m so happy for her…her apartment’s beautiful, oh, my god. Now, after seeing her apartment…I wanna move into an apartment, because I love the view and her skyline. Like, it turns pink, red … it’s beautiful. The sunset, it’s absolutely incredible.”
However, Christian is not living with the Next Gen NYC star, and that is just fine with Gia Giudice. She has stated she loves being independent and alone. Therefore, this was something he knew was coming at some point in their relationship:
“He knew that this was something that I wanted to do. I came to realize that I love being on my own and being by myself. I think your partner has to be understanding. Understand what you need at points in your life. And we’ve both done a pretty good job at that.”
The duo travels extensively, so they spend a lot of time together. Additionally, she knows that Christian will move in at some point, likely in 2026.
A Big Sham
Although Gia Giudice seems very happily in love with Christian Carmichael, the same cannot be said for her mother. RHONJ fans are not happy that Bravo brought back Teresa Giudice because with her comes Luis Ruelas. Her daughters are constantly defending him, but it is hard to believe. Recently, Gia went on the podcast Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe and fiercely defended him.
That caused followers to immediately chime in:
- Louie is a creep but look at the brat lie
- I do not buy this one bit. The only reason he is nice because her mother is the cash cow and if he doesn’t treat you girls well she will leave him
- The damaged control is unreal. Is she actually expecting ppl to buy this BS
It will be interesting to see the family dynamics when the show returns. For now, Gia Giudice is living her best life with Christian and her friends.
