Neymar has played down speculation over a potential move to Major League Soccer, insisting he plans to remain with Santos until the end of his current deal.
Interest from the United States had gathered pace in recent weeks, with FC Cincinnati among the clubs to make initial enquiries about a possible summer transfer.
However, the Brazil forward suggested he is not currently focused on leaving.
“I honestly don’t know,” Neymar said when asked about a move in the next transfer window. I have a contract with Santos until the end of the year and I intend to see it through.”

Neymar returned to Santos following his spell with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia and remains tied to the club until the end of the calendar year.
While discussions have taken place behind the scenes regarding a potential switch to MLS, the 34-year-old’s stance suggests any move is unlikely in the immediate future.
There has often been talk of Neymar linking back up with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami, having once formed part of the famous ‘MSN’ at Barcelona.
But those rumours have faltered in recent months, with excitement around the World Cup instead taking centre stage.

Neymar’s season has once again been disrupted by injury, with a knee problem limiting him to just eight appearances so far this year.
Despite that, he has still contributed four goals and three assists, underlining his influence when available, an argument he has often tabled when talking about being part of Brazil’s squad under Carlo Ancelotti.
He marked his return from injury with a goal in Santos’ 1-1 draw against Deportivo Recoleta on Tuesday, though the result was still met with frustration from supporters.

Tensions rose after the final whistle, with Neymar involved in a brief confrontation as Santos left the pitch to boos from the home crowd.
The forward later addressed the situation on social media, urging calm and a collective focus on improvement.
“To lose, draw or win is part of football,” he wrote. “We are going to continue working to improve. It’s the only thing we can do.”
