After receiving sneak peeks and a teaser back in February 2026, the first full-length trailer for Prime Video’s new series, Spider-Noir, is here, and you can watch it below.
The series will focus on telling the story of an ageing and down-on-his-luck private investigator, Ben Reilly, played by Nicolas Cage, in New York in the 1930s, who is grappling with his past life of being the superhero, The Spider. Cage will be reprising the role of the character he voiced in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, while Oren Uziel and Seve Lightfoot will be serving as the series co-runners.
Jack Huston will join the cast, playing Flint Marko/Sandman, Brendan Gleeson will be playing crime boss Silvermane, Li Jun Li is playing a nightclub chanteuse named Cat Hardy, Abraham Popoola is Tombstone, and Andrew Caldwell is Megawatt.
Synopsis:
“Spider-Noir” is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. “Spider-Noir” tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s only superhero.
Lamorne Morris, Lukas Haas, Karen Rodriguez, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson co-star.
The first two episodes will be directed by Harry Bradbeer, alongside executive producers “Spider-Verse” regulars Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Sony Pictures Television is producing the series, which will be available to watch in both black-and-white and “true-hue” colour.
Spider-Noir comes to Prime Video on May 27th.
