No Name Mobile has boosted the data on some of its plans as part of a new flash sale.
Here are the plans:
- $19/2GB (unchanged)
- $25/6GB (unchanged)
- $30/30GB (was $30/20GB)
- $35/45GB (was $35/GB)
Now, it’s worth noting that these plans are all 4G and include unlimited Canada-wide calling and calls to the U.S., call waiting/call display/ 3-way calling/call forwarding, and the more recently added suspicious call detection and caller ID detection.
These data buckets also include additional data offered as a bonus for signing up to automatically top up your account (AKA autopay).
Honestly, this is not the best plan I’ve ever seen from No Name. Back in April, they had promotional plans which included a $34/85GB deal, and a $25/30GB deal. Looking around elsewhere, I was able to price out a Fizz mobile plan for $30/50GB Canada-wide at 5G speeds. Public Mobile also has a $35/50GB Canada-wide plan with 5G speeds.
To really hit the nail on the head, Freedom has a $40/70GB Canada/U.S./Mexico 5G+ plan that also includes 1GB of Roam Beyond data.
Also — it should be noted that the 10GB bonus data offer ends August 5.
