Fall is on the horizon, and that means football is nearing. In college football, the AP preseason top 25 is out. Ohio State and Texas take the top two spots, while Indiana looks to defend their National Championship.

In honor of the weekly top 25 poll that fluctuates throughout the college football season, here are three polls: Champions poll, top merchandise sellers for 2026, and a top 25 male/female.

    ALL CHAMPIONS

    1. Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight): The Tribal Chief is a heel again. His promos, facial expressions, aura, and theme song are among the best in WWE. His matches can get repetitive, but Reigns is one of the pillars in the company.
    2. Chad Gable (Intercontinental Champion): He may not have the aura of the top two champs, but Gable can steal the show whenever he steps foot in the ring. He and Mysterio had the match of the year on Raw weeks ago.
    3. CM Punk (WWE Undisputed): The Voice of the Voiceless, and Cult of Personality. Punk could climb the ranks if he turns heel; however, it doesn’t look like it’s happening. Punk can still go strong in the ring as he nears 50.
    4. Rey Fenix (AAA Cruiserweight): Fenix isn’t listed on the WWE roster, but he’s had some great title defenses on SmackDown. The champ steals the show whenever he steps foot in the ring, and let’s hope he follows in the footsteps of his brother Penta.
    5. Raquel Rodriguez (Women’s IC): A powerhouse with tons of potential, Rodriguez is a rising star, and when she breaks away (IF EVER), her singles run will be amazing.
    6. The Tongans (SmackDown Tag): It looks like ditching the family drama worked well for these two. Led by Haku, they need more contenders and to get rid of the face paint.
    7. Jacy Jayne (Women’s US): With one sorry title defense to her name against Paige, Jayne still has the chance to make the Women’s US title relevant. She’s a fantastic heel, and will be a WWE Women’s Champ one day. Had Rhea been ready to go at SummerSlam, she could’ve been the top woman in the company.
    8. Chelsea Green (WWE Women’s Champ): Two weeks ago, she cut the promo of her career before wearing a mask due to injury. Now she’s eating a pin from future #1 contender Nia Jax in a tag match. Bravo WWE, bravo…
    9. Baron Corbin (United States): Corbin as the Lone Wolf was amazing, but this version of him is unwatchable. He gets ZERO pop or crowd reaction, and his feud with Trick Williams must stop now. Raise your hand if you thought Lil Yachty would wrestle a match before Blake Monroe this year.
    10. Liv Morgan (WWE Raw Women’s): Over 100 days, 1 title defense. Nothing against Morgan, but the creative team fumbled the ball here. It’s possible she drops the belt to Becky Lynch, but not quite yet.
    11. Fatal Influence (Women’s Tag): Fellow superstars backstage call them stiff, but they’re the tag champs. Unfortunately, Brie Bella is sidelined while her sister Nikki targets Paige. Where that leaves FI is anyone’s guess.
    12. The Vision (Raw Tag): Well, let’s see. Since winning the tag belts from the Street Profits, they have yet to defend the belts once. Bron Breakker is ready to leave them, and Maxxine/Austin Theory are so cringe.

Top 25 Among Active WWE Superstars in 2026

    1. CM Punk, 2. Cody Rhodes, 3. Danhausen, 4. Roman Reigns, 5. Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Jacob Fatu, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, LA Knight, Dominik Mysterio, Judgement Day, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Gunther, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Bron Breakker, Bianca Belair, Trick Williams, Tiffany Stratton, Damian Priest, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Uso

The official top 25 rankings for both male and female superstars.

    Official Top 25 Male Superstars

    1. Roman Reigns

Love or hate him, Reigns is THE guy for WWE and has been for over a decade. The Bloodline storyline is dry, but when he enters the arena, every fan has their ones up in the air.

    1. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is the longest-tenured male superstar in the business and is beloved by the WWE Universe. Even when he turned heel in February, fans refused to boo him. The Viper’s psychology, in-ring, and promo work are among the best in the business.

    1. Solo Sikoa

WWE has the biggest babyface in the company as Sikoa is genuinely funny and shows shades of the Rock. Pew!

    1. CM Punk

The WWE champion is one year from turning 50, but is still going strong in the ring. A Punk heel turn would do wonders for him, but WWE isn’t taking risks anymore.

    1. Cody Rhodes

The American Nightmare is out of the title picture, and it’s a breath of fresh air. He’s been teasing a turn to the dark side in a rivalry with Randy Orton, and excels in between the ropes.

    1. Kevin Owens

17 months away is brutal, but he’s back and taking no prisoners. Owens has been screwed out of a title opportunity by longtime frenemy Sami Zayn. His passion, energy, and authenticity are much needed for the product.

    1. Oba Femi

In an alternative universe, Femi would be strutting down to the ring with the World Heavyweight Champion. Or at least lost valiantly to Roman Reigns. Instead, the Nigerian Giant is on a side quest as WWE botched the King of the Ring tourney.

    1. Chad Gable

It’s fair to say Gable could climb the ranks given his in-ring performances. As the IC champ, he delivered a match of the year candidate with Rey Mysterio. Cross your fingers WWE doesn’t fumble him, or take the belt off anytime soon.

    1. Trick Williams

Whoop that Yachty… Or should I say trick. The rapper is holding him back, as is this US title feud with Baron Corbin. Williams is a bona fide star in WWE, but creative is hesitant to push him into the main event scene.

    1. Penta

Despite losing the Intercontinental title at SummerSlam, Penta’s popularity isn’t waning. His match with Roman Reigns in Mexico City will be entertaining, but he’s not winning.

    1. Sami Zayn

Justice for Sami! Zayn won the big one this year, and has justifiable promos. However, it’s getting hard to back him when all he does is appear and hit his opponents with the title after losing it. Maybe that’s the point?

    1. Gunther

The only TRUE heel in WWE, Gunther is the perfect specimen for professional wrestling. His creative direction’s been strange, but his presence demands your attention.

    1. LA Knight

He’s the Robin to Solo Sikoa’s Batman, and could get a title shot at Roman Reigns before Oba Femi does. He gets loud crowd reactions, but upper management doesn’t like him.

    1. Finn Balor

For a superstar with a sick theme song, Balor is in the middle of a career resurgence right now. He’s finally getting into the main event scene, and out of the Judgement Day Vortex.

    15. Tongans

Haku saved these two guys’ careers, and now they’re the tag champs. It’s just a shame they are presented as huge muscle men that take down their opponents.

    1. Danhausen

Time to address the elephant in the room. He might be overexposed, and could be losing his magical abilities. Maybe he’s the one getting cursed at the end of all this, because his concert and SummerSlam match are the worst segments/match in pro wrestling this year.

    17. WEPA UP (Damian Priest and R-Truth)

Triple H put the titles on these two to pay homage to R- Truth, and allegedly didn’t tell Damian Priest. It looks like the team will split, and Priest will head to AAA.

    1. Je’Von Evans

Evans was inside the Elimination Chamber in February, and the dude is definitely bouncy. Since then, he’s been involved in dead-end programs with Ethan Page, Rusev, and now Big Cass. The guy is a freak athlete, but is presented as a stepping stone for other superstars.

    1. Baron Corbin

Garbledy gook. Corbin is a great human being, and much respect to his career. The US Champion gets ZERO crowd response, and please get rid of that furry belt.

    1. Carmelo Hayes:

He was absent for a little too long, and when he’s on TV is always on the losing end. When you lose a title match in your hometown and are an afterthought, that’s not a great sign.

    1. Ricky Saints:

A revolution turned into cricket sounds whenever Saints entered an arena. He’s charismatic and demonstrates great promo work. However, the crowd isn’t buying it, and the poor guy is hardly featured on SmackDown.

    1. The Miz and 23. Kit Wilson: Two underappreciated superstars were booked in backstage segments with Danhausen. Wilson’s ‘YOU ARE TOXIC’ gimmick was over, but they haven’t been on TV much. It’s too bad, because both deserve better.

    23. Big Cass: WhatCulture coined him ‘Generic Big Guy #847’, and that sums it up. He beat Je’Von Evans in a surprisingly competitive match on Raw. Commentator Corey Graves has been silent or taking digs whenever Cass is in the ring. Many fans say that’s because Graves’ wife is Cass’s ex-girlfriend, and there’s tension there. Not to get into anyone’s personal business.

    1. Shinsuke Nakamura: Low-key forgot he was still with WWE. The King of Strong Style has been featured in vignettes throughout the year, and if he doesn’t win the tag titles, then they’re just empty threats.

    1. Charlotte Flair

A 14x Women’s Champion, Flair is royalty. She’s now getting cheered by the crowd, and admits it’s a positive change of pace. Title or no title, she is going down as one of the greatest female superstars in WWE history.

    1. Becky Lynch

Flair and Lynch might as well be 1A and 1B. They both main-evented WrestleMania and have a resume like no other. Lynch is one of the few who can pull off being a heel and face very well. Her promos are also among the best in WWE.

    1. Chelsea Green

Let’s all Pledge Allegiance to Chelsea Green and chant ‘You Deserve It.’ Although she’s injured and reports suggest she may have worse news, Green got a massive pop at SummerSlam. The Interim WWE Women’s Champ is brilliant, and here’s to a fast recovery.

    1. Raquel Rodriguez

As you can tell by now, yours truly thinks Rodriguez is the powerhouse/strongest link in the Judgement Day. The Women’s IC champ has had the best year of her career and deserves her flowers.

    1. Jacy Jayne

In the case Green has to vacate the belt due to injuries, let’s have Jayne drop the Women’s US title to Blake Monroe and win the top prize. She’s the complete package.

    1. Stephanie Vaquer

Contrary to reports, Vaquer revealed on the season 3 of ‘WWE Unreal’ that she was taking a break from wrestling due to fatigue. Upon return, La Primera is still a big star and will be a huge player after shaking off the ring rust.

    1. Fatal Influence

The Women’s Tag Champs don’t have much competition, but the two are destined for greatness.

    1. Nia Jax

Based on the last few weeks, Jax is in line to take the title from Green, which would be a massive mistake. The only upside is if Lash turns on her and then takes the belt.

    1. Tatum Paxley

Paxley is what happens when you fuse Nikki Cross with Lyra Valkyria, but WWE actually gives her a push. It’d be perfectly fine if she and Bliss split from Flair and win the tag belts. When Flair requests you to work with her, you’re bound to become royalty.

    1. Alexa Bliss

Bliss returns with a protégé in Paxley and sticks Flair as the odd trio. All the while keeping her dark, twisted gimmick. Everyone wins.

    1. Liv Morgan

There’s not much to say here, except maybe just MAYBE the Judgement Day will be in TROUBLE TROUBLE soon enough.

    1. Iyo Sky

Considered the greatest female pro wrestler on the planet, Iyo Sky got the rug pulled out from her when Sane was released in the middle of a storyline. Sky’s over, and it would’ve been nice if WWE didn’t waste that Queen of the Ring tourney.

    1. Sol Ruca

WWE/TKO wasn’t too impressed with the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion, but they’re willing to feed her instead. Ruca’s finisher is like no other, but reports suggest her opponents have to carry her through matches, including specific spots.

    1. Jade Cargill and the Baddies

Cargill has improved A LOT since debuting in WWE. Her promos still need work, and creative should never put her in the ring with Charlotte Flair. Wait, they will this Sunday again(facepalm). Michin knows how to put her opponents over, and B-Fab is doing better than when she was in the revised Hit Row.

    1. Lash Legend

While her husband Trick Williams is shining on the same show for the most part, Legend lives in the Nia Jax’s shadow. Being Miss Money in the Bank would do wonders for her because, as it stands, her ceiling isn’t very high.

    15. Roxanne Perez

Every faction needs someone to be the workhorse and take the pin. For the Judgement Day, that’s Perez. Could she be Miss Money in the Bank this year? Yes. Will she? Probably not.

    1. Tiffany Stratton

The former US Women’s champ is stuck in a bland character, but she’s at least not getting pinned clean like the top champ is. A heel turn and career renaissance could put Stratton back in the main event women’s title scene.

    17. Lyra Valkyria

Lyra has the best heel turn of the year, and then during a commercial break said she ‘sent Bayley home packing’ on Raw. She lost

    18. Paige

Her WrestleMania return was the highlight of her latest run, and then the wheels fell off. Paige’s matches have been subpar at best, and she took the women’s tag belts hostage for too long.

    19. Nikki Bella

With Brie Bella recovering from a broken shoulder, Bella is now avenging her sister. Unfortunately, the crowd doesn’t care about Nikki at all. It also sucks that one twin is getting hurt because one last heel run as tag champs would be nice for their careers overall.

    20. Kiana James

James was in the Elimination Chamber match, and it seemed WWE saw her as a bigger star than Guilia. Instead, she’s only appeared a few times in qualifying matches.

    1. Guilia

The 2x Women’s US Champ’s career isn’t over in totality, just in WWE. Guilia can put on phenomenal matches, so it’s puzzling why she’s been a punching bag for everyone else.

    1. Candice Larae

LaRae has wrestled TWO matches all year, and finds herself in backstage segments with her husband. At the very least, she’s interacting with the main event scene of SmackDown.

    1. Jordynn Grace

Her last match on the main roster was against Jade Cargill as cannon fodder. Grace finds herself on Main Event, and creative has admitted they have nothing for her.

    1. Blake Monroe

Monroe has appeared more than most in this ranking, but hasn’t wrestled one match. She’s targeted lower middle-card superstars backstage, but they look like empty threats.

Sunday’s Night’s Main Event is this weekend, and Money in the Bank is right around the corner. Meaning these rankings will fluctuate before the year is out. Speaking of SNME, here’s the match card and predictions.

Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton: Orton wins, but rivalry continues

Oba Femi vs Bron Breakker: No Contest, because NO ONE can lose

Baron Corbin vs Lil Yachty (in the rapper’s hometown): Lil Yachty wins, but not sure if Corbin will face Trick Williams right after or not.

Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab vs Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley: Paxley pins B-Fab

Blake Monroe vs Guilia (?): This was rumored to happen, and if it does, Monroe wins in an impressive squash match
