Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Storms Beador is sharing a heartbreaking family update. Fans have watched her go through a traumatic divorce, which involved infidelity and a devastating car wreck where she was subsequently arrested. So, what is currently going on with the long-running RHOC cast member? Keep reading for all of the details.
A Sad Twist For Shannon Beador
Shannon Beador was brought onto RHOC in Season 9 when Heather Beador was building her “cheateau.” Her realtor wanted to show her similar homes, and the Beadors seemed to have one of interest. She became immensely close to Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson, branding themselves the ‘Tres Amigas.’ Over the years, the three women had a contentious relationship, but she also had a rough marriage. Her husband, David Beador, was unfaithful, and despite trying, they split. She ended up raising their three daughters, Stella, Adeline, and Sophie, but ended up in an awful car wreck, which resulted in a DUI.
Shannon has finally gotten her friendships and life somewhat back in order, but tragedy has struck. Her beloved pup, Archie, whom she has had for a decade, is sick.

She shared this sad news regarding Archie’s health:
“After experiencing multiple seizures, Archie has been diagnosed with brain cancer.”
This could be a death sentence, but Shannon and her family are going to explore every avenue possible to keep him well. Archie has seen a neurologist and oncologist, so he will begin radiation. She then asked anyone who has been through this to please reach out with any advice. Archie is her world, and her girls absolutely adore him. Therefore, they will go to the ends of the earth to save him. Since he popped up on RHOC, fans have absolutely adored him.
They have even asked that he become a housewife, as he is so darn cute, sweet, and entertaining.
Mixed Emotions
After RHOC fans and followers read Shannon Storms Beador’s sad update on Archie, there were mixed emotions. Some felt that she should put him down and not make him suffer. However, others believed that she should follow through with the radiation as she could see great results:
- Shannon, our dog has a brain Tumor and has received radiation. It’s been 1.5 years and he is doing well.
- This may be an unpopular opinion but I believe he is 11 or 12 ? I would not put him through this. Archie has shown you and your girls unconditional love for over 10 years.
- The question is are you doing this for you or for Archie. If he is suffering will it be best for him to go thru more? Think
At the end of the day, everyone will have their opinion, but Shannon and her girls have to do what they feel is best. Hopefully, Archie will react well to the treatment and live many more lifetimes.
Sending so much love and prayers to Archie and the RHOC family for many years of love and cuddles.
