Bukayo Saka was in the right place to slam in a rebound and give Arsenal a potentially priceless half-time lead over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League semi-final.
The first 45 minutes at the Emirates were predictably tight and tense with chances at a premium.
But right on half time Leandro Trossard made space for a low shot which Jan Oblak could only spill out into danger.
Saka, fit enough to start wide on the right, reacted sharply to fire in and put Arsenal 2-1 up on aggregate and 45 minutes away from a first final in 20 years.
Diego Simeone’s side will have to come out and attack after the break – follow the match here.
