Tamar Braxton is spicing up her summer with a new ‘do! The singer recently blessed fans with a behind-the-scenes look at her hair switch-up. Now, fans are saying she’s channeling her sisters, Toni and the late Traci Braxton.

Tamar Braxton Debuts New Hairstyle
Braxton first shared her new look on Saturday (July 25), captioning the Instagram reel with: “Decided to make some necessary changes.” It appears that her video has no audio, but it shows a person’s gloved hands rinsing her hair off. Meanwhile, the next two photos in the post appear to show the final result. Tamar upgraded to a dark blonde bowl cut. Also, she now has curtain bangs and two long sideburns. One video shows her touching the new hair and slightly grinning.
Fans Mention Toni & Traci In Reaction To New Hair
On her Instagram page, Tamar Braxton’s post got over 8,500 likes and more than 400 comments. After Tamar dropped her photos, fans flooded her with reactions. More than a few name-dropped Toni Braxton and the late Traci Braxton, describing the similarities between the women, given the new hair. Traci passed away in March 2022 at age 50 following a battle with a cancer. Other names that stood out in the comment section, were T-Boz (Tionne Watkins) and Mary J. Blige.
