However, online sleuths quickly began questioning that narrative. Social media users pointed out reports indicating that filming on “King Snake” had already wrapped weeks earlier. Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi later claimed Qualley had been spotted in Woodstock, New York, on July 2 and in nearby Kingston on July 4, placing her significantly closer to Madison Square Garden than Arkansas.
While none of that confirmed relationship trouble at the time, the observations gained new attention after news of the couple’s separation surfaced.

At the time, Antonoff showing up to Swift’s wedding without Qualley didn’t seem like a major red flag. Fans initially chalked it up to work commitments.
