Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp is fiercely defending her Kyle Richards amid reunion backlash. The two became best friends while filming the hit Bravo series, and many feel that Teddi is Kyle’s mouthpiece. So, what does Teddi have to say now about her RHOBH co-star, and how is it landing? Teddi Always Has Kyle’s Back
When Teddi Mellencamp came onto the RHOBH scene in Season 8, she and Kyle Richards became fast friends. They remained close, and Dorit Kemsley often joked that the two were in a relationship. Teddi exited after three seasons, but the two have been there through thick and thin. Season 15 has not been easy for Kyle as she somewhat opened up about losing a new love (likely Morgan Wade), and came to blows with Dorit. The two have been at each other’s throats for the last two seasons, but this season has been the worst. Teddi recaps what is going on during her podcasts, but it often comes off as bullying.
Kyle has been in communication with Dorit’s estranged husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley. PK is also very close to Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. Therefore, Dorit believes that Kyle has been leaking things to Mauricio, who spills the tea to PK, which she has denied. On the pod, Teddi told her co-host, Dolores Catania, this:
“Dorit is so angry. Dorit, if PK was lying about paying the mortgage for the past six months, you don’t think he may be lying about who told him she’s having a bad season?”
Dolores immediately jumped in and stated that she believed Kyle did tell Mauricio the bad things going on with Dorit. It then went on to how Rachel Zoe mentioned that Dorit was 45 minutes late, but she’s perpetually late to everything. This is related to Kyle Richards saying the cast talked about her behind her back. Dolores quickly noted:
“I would be concerned if I didn’t see my friend, whom I went somewhere with for 45 minutes.”
She then asked why Kyle even had to say anything, but Teddi Mellencamp stated that she wanted it to be clear that Kyle wasn’t the only one speaking about Dorit. Dolores still felt it was wrong.
Kyle’s Mouthpiece
After Dolores Catania tried to challenge what Kyle Richards was saying, Teddi Mellencamp continued to defend her best friend:
“[Kyle] feels like, ‘What the hell? I want things to be shown in the order that it happens.’”
Fans have long been tired of Kyle and her lack of a storyline on RHOBH. They feel that she is never transparent with what she is going through and throws everyone else under the bus.
After hearing what Teddi Mellencamp said about Kyle and how Dolores Catania clapped back, fans were stunned. They saw her as Teresa Giudice’s mouthpiece for years on RHONJ, so it seemed very hypocritical. Regardless, many are over Kyle and ready for her to go:
