Teen Mom Star Arrested On DUI, Child Abuse Charges
MTV’s popular Teen Mom franchise follows teenagers who accidentally wound up pregnant at a young age. Oftentimes, the stars wind up arrested on various charges as adults. One star from the franchise was arrested on DUI and child abuse charges after her husband called the cops on her.
Viewers met Ryan Edwards on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant when he was expecting a baby with his high school sweetheart, Maci Bookout. He went on to have two children with Mackenzie Standifer. They divorced in 2025. Two weeks later, he married Amanda Conner. The reality star and his second wife met in rehab and had a child together several months before his divorce was finalized.
Ryan Edwards called the cops on Amanda Conner in May after she was allegedly driving drunk with their daughter, Presley, in the car. The cops eventually arrested Amanda Conner and charged her with DUI and child abuse. Amanda Conner previously lost custody of her other child.
The Teen Mom alum admitted after her arrest that she had relapsed. She recently accused her husband of abuse and vowed to leave him. Amanda Conner returns to court in August to face the latest DUI and child abuse charges. In the meantime, she’s struggling.
Amanda Conner Fired Amid Legal Trouble
Amanda Conner is still facing repercussions, or “consequences,” as she calls them, from her arrest earlier this year. She took to social media this week to share a shocking update. Amanda Conner revealed that she was fired from her job amid the DUI and child abuse charges.
“Consequences, consequences! I lost— well, I didn’t lose it— but the last job [I had], they were like, ‘We want your court stuff to be over with,’” she told her followers. However, Amanda Conner hasn’t given up on finding a new job.
“Court can literally drag and last from six months to a year, so I just went ahead and I’m putting in applications,” she added. She was getting ready for an interview while she was filming the video.

In addition to looking for a new job, the Teen Mom shared an update on her court case. “I went out of my way and— I wasn’t not [sic] asked to do this by the courts, I did it myself— I did a parenting class and completed that and gave the certificate to my lawyer. And did a drug and alcohol course— it was 12 hours! Did that, and also completed that and gave that certificate to my lawyers,” she revealed.
It seems the DUI and child abuse charges were a wake-up call for Amanda Conner. Stay tuned for the results of her court case in August.
