The sports broadcaster was caught having an affair in 1997. Images of the infidelity were published in magazines and made headlines for weeks. The couple insisted that he was entrapped by The Globe for tabloid news. Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford were able to move past the betrayal with the help of their faith. They remained together until he passed away.

“I am not dating anybody right now, and I don’t want to date. I’m not looking, and I don’t think I’ll ever get married again,” she told the outlet. She revealed that she did date someone after her husband died but it didn’t work out. But never say never.
Hoda Kotb Pitched Kathie Lee Gifford As Golden Bachelorette
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb had a close bond when co-hosting the Today Show‘s fourth hour. Jenna Bush Hager took over when Kathie Lee left in 2019. Despite leaving the show, she’s returned as a guest several times. During one visit, Jenna and Hoda pitched their former co-host as the next Golden Bachelorette.
Kathie Lee Gifford shut down speculation that she would join the ABC reality show. However, she told PEOPLE magazine that she’s not completely opposed to finding love again. “Frank will always be the love of my life. If God wants to do something miraculous, like give me another great love [then I’m open to it]. And so I leave room for the miraculous to happen.”
PEOPLE magazine revealed that the former Today Show host recently filmed a documentary about her life.
