Thousands of tech founders, business leaders, and community champions are coming together in Toronto this spring to learn from and inspire each other. And there’s still time for you to join in the fun.

Toronto Tech Week is happening at dozens of venues across the city from May 25 to 29.

The third annual event is a local non-profit initiative led by volunteer organizers from the Canada Tech Week Organization. And there are hundreds of events for entrepreneurs and builders from across the country to discover.

“When we saw over 15,000 people show up to Toronto Tech Week in our first year across 315 events and 27 neighbourhoods, it was clear people really wanted something like this,” said Julia Konefal, Head of Platform & Operations at Golden Ventures and Founding Partner and Co-Director of Toronto Tech Week.

“We wanted to keep building on that in a way that still feels true to the community here. What matters most is that Toronto Tech Week is built by the people in it, founders, operators, and builders across the city.”

There are more than 300 events to choose from this year, including workshops, demos, panels, meetups and socials.

Many of Toronto Tech Week’s independently and community-led hosted events are free or low-cost to attend.

Highlights include a TechTO Hackathon with prizes, a co-working session for mid-career women in business and technology, and a deep dive into the current state of venture capital.

The largest grassroots tech gathering in Canada also features the return of the Homecoming mainstage, a global showcase of the country’s innovation economy.

Speakers announced for Homecoming 2026 include:

    • Tobi Lütke – Co-Founder & CEO, Shopify
    • Andrew Macdonald – President & COO, Uber
    • Nick Frosst – Co-Founder, Cohere
    • Andrew Chau – Co-Founder & CEO, Neo Financial
    • Emily Hosie – Founder & CEO, Rebel
    • Simon Hørup Eskildsen – Co-Founder & CEO, Turbopuffer
    • Max Brodeur-Urbas – CoFounder & CEO, Gumloop
    • Elaina Yallen – Simile
    • Mina Mitry – Founder, Kepler
    • Eliot Pence – Founder, Dominion Dynamics
    • Alex Danco – Editor-at-Large, Andreessen Horowitz
    • Lucy Hargreaves – Co-Founder & CEO, Build Canada

Guests are invited to visit Toronto Tech Week’s website to explore the events calendar, purchase Homecoming tickets, and register for informative events happening across the city.

“It’s an easy way to meet people, learn something new, and see what’s actually being built around you,” added Konefal. “There’s a full lineup of events across the city, with more being added leading up to the week, so people can find something that fits their interests.”
