Fans have been anxiously awaiting the wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. While the exact date and venue continue to be a mystery, Travis’s dad is talking about his future daughter-in-law. Keep reading to find out what he has to say about her.
Travis’ Dad Talks Taylor Swift
It won’t be long now until Taylor Swift is officially part of the Kelce family. While it seems she’s made a lasting impression on everyone and fits right in, there’s one family member whom Taylor says they can’t tell anything to. Apparently, Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, is “sort of like a loose cannon. Nobody knows what he’s going to say, so it’s kind of a controversial situation.”
Apparently, Taylor can’t tell him much because he can’t be trusted with information. However, that hasn’t changed his opinion on his future daughter-in-law. In fact, he only has nice things to say about her.
“She is a sweetheart that is truly the girl next door, just like Kylie,” he says.
Even Travis’ brother joined in saying, “Very excited for my brother. I’m very happy for both of them. I’m looking forward to celebrating with them. It’s a good year right now,” Yahoo! reports.
So, it seems that while there could be pre-wedding drama, the Kelce family is steering clear and just cheering on Travis and Taylor Swift.
Wedding Details
Of course, with the wedding rumored to be this summer, everyone has questions. To start, there hasn’t been an exact date that fans can find. July 4 is considered to be a viable option, as is July 3, the Friday before. The venue is also up in the air. Some think it will be at Taylor’s mansion, while others speculate the gathering is so large it will have to be at Maddison Square Garden.
If the wedding is on the 4th, her mansion would make sense, as she’s been known to host epic 4th of July parties there.
We do know one thing, though, despite being in a feud with Taylor, it seems Blake Lively did get invited to the wedding after all. As previously reported, “Blake is on the cusp of getting a second chance, and they have had some loose conversations to test the waters to get the trust back. Blake is slowly getting back into the fold now that Taylor is having a change of heart.”
So far, there’s simply no telling who else is on the star-studded guest list.
